Editorial Policy
How we aggregate ratings, correct mistakes, and handle operator disputes.
How reviews are aggregated
We read publicly available reviews on Trustpilot, Tripadvisor, Cruise Critic, and Travelstride for each operator, note the platform's own star rating and sample size, and summarize recurring praise and complaint themes in our own words. We do not quote individual reviewers or link to specific reviews.
No paid placement
No fee, of any kind, changes a tier, a score, or a sort position. Our only paid relationships are a flat submission-review fee and display advertising, both disclosed on our About page.
Correction policy
If a figure on this site is wrong, outdated, or missing a source, we correct it on verification and note the update date on the relevant page. We do not silently edit a published rating without leaving a dated trail.
Update cadence
Pricing and ratings are re-checked quarterly and immediately after any operator-reported fleet, itinerary, or gratuity-policy change we become aware of.
How an operator can dispute a score
Contact us via the contact page with the specific claim, the correct figure, and a verifiable source. We review disputes against the original source we cited; if our source was wrong or outdated, we correct it.
What we do and do not link to
We link, dofollow, to each operator's own official site and to the third-party review platform supporting its rating. We do not use affiliate links, tracking redirects, or booking-agent parameters on any outbound link.
