Our Mission

Antarctica and Arctic expedition cruises are a five-figure purchase most travelers make once. The operators' own marketing sites are, reasonably, written to sell a specific ship. What's harder to find is a single place that puts guest ratings, landing-access arithmetic, and hidden costs for ten operators side by side, sourced and dated, without one of them paying for the top spot.

That's what Polar Landing Report tries to be. We'd rather publish "not disclosed" than a number we haven't checked, and we'd rather show our weighting formula than hide behind an unexplained score. See our methodology and editorial policy for the mechanics behind that.
